PEA is alocal affiliate of the Colorado Education Association (CEA) and the National Education Association, the largest labor organization in the country. We are a member-led organization of educators and allies that is committed to leading the fight to defend & transform public education. We believe that educators, together with parents, students, and the community, have the knowledge, skill, and power to build the schools and communities that ALL Pueblo students deserve. We are an educational and social justice union, which means that not only do we defend our members and our contract, but we also fight for the rights and needs of our students and community. We advocate for laws and policies that benefit students and elect pro-public education candidates to office.
